We congratulate cordially on your habilitation!
Under tightened protective measures due to the Covid19 pandemic, the first habilitation lecture on the expectation of action and obedience was held today: A proposal for an institutionalisation-theoretical reading of the relativity of space at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Prof. Dr. Jochem Kotthaus was subsequently awarded the Venia Legendi "Sociology".

Prof. Dr. Jochem Kotthaus has held the professorship at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, Department of Applied Social Sciences, Educational Science/Youth and Family Support since 2010. He teaches and researches on the topics of youth and family support, socioscientific fan research as well as pop culture and transgression. From 2010 to 2013, he conducted a study on the living environment of Ultras in West Germany with Sven Kathöfer and Richard Göldner. In addition, he is co-publisher of the journal Fußball und Gesellschaft (FuG).
