On the 25th of August 2025, an interdisciplinary event took place in Dortmund that addressed the social challenges of the 2020s – particularly the tension between ecological transformation, social justice and growing inequality. The aim was to engage in a professional exchange with the JUST doctoral programme ‘Fair and Sustainable Transformation’ on content and research methodology issues within the framework of these complex processes.
