Uwe Wilkesmann takes over the chair of the scientific advisory board of the DZHW

Uwe Wilkesmann has been elected Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Centre for Higher Education and Science Research (DZHW). The DZHW is the largest research institute in higher education and science research and is funded by the BMBF as well as the 16 German federal states.

The current research priorities of the DZHW are (1) Individual educational trajectories, factors influencing individual educational success as well as successful integration into the labour market and educational outcomes, (2) interactions between different forms of external and self-regulation and the promotion or funding of research as well as evaluation practices in the scientific system, (3) governance of research and teaching and their change with regard to higher education institutions and science organisations, and (4) methodological issues of higher education and science research and the further development of infrastructure.
