The inaugural lecture by Assistant Professor Laura Naegele took place on 26 June 2024. She has been a assistant professor for "Employment and Education in Old Age" at our department since 19 June 2024. The assistant professorship was established in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in Bonn. In her lecture "Age stereotypes in (digital) learning environments", Ms Naegele presented one of her current fields of research, which ties in perfectly with the department's profile areas. Ms. Naegele's teaching activities will include the Master's degree in "Ageing Societies". The department is very pleased about the appointment and welcomes Ms. Naegele.
