Work Protection during the Corona Pandemic

Mask on and done? New project at the Social Research Center investigates questions of implementation and acceptance of Covid protective measures at the workplace.

Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, jobs and demands on employees have changed significantly in almost all industries. This poses new challenges not only for them, but also for occupational health and safety players.

The CAUSA-A project, which is funded by the BMAS, is an interdisciplinary team of researchers from the social sciences and law that is investigating the new problems faced by employees and occupational safety and health players, the support needed by companies, and the solution strategies that have been found, including those for special risk groups.

The aim is to gain insights into the implementation and acceptance of protective measures in the course of the pandemic, which will contribute to adaptive and crisis-proof occupational safety and can also be profitably used in practice for the expected further development of the working world after the pandemic.

Details on CAUSA-A can be found here and in the project description on the homepage of the Funding Network Interdisciplinary Social Policy Research (FIS).
