Successful doctorate - congratulations!

We congratulate Martin Temmen, who received his doctorate at Faculty 12 on 16 June 2020.

Martin Temmen is a geographer who, in his doctoral thesis, carried out empirical work on material objects in urban space and their effects on human actions, drawing on the theoretical work of Henri Lefebvre. His dissertation is entitled: "The role of material objects in the social production of space".

After his successful defence on 16 June, he is the second geographer to receive his doctorate from the Institute for Didactics of Integrative Subjects at the TU Dortmund University. We would like to congratulate him and wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.
