Welcome Prof. Dr. Hannah Zagel to the Department of Social Sciences

On January 15, 2025, Prof. Hannah Zagel held her inaugural lecture on "Reproduktionsregime: Ein Ländervergleich reproduktiver Rechte und Restriktionen im Lebensverlauf". Interested students, researchers and guests were given an exciting insight into her field of research. As the successor to Prof. Monika Reichert, she took up the professorship for "Life Course Sociology" at the Department of Social Sciences on October 1, 2024. Her teaching activities include the Master's degree in Ageing Societies and the Bachelor's degree in Sociology. The Department of Social Sciences is very pleased about the appointment of Prof. Hannah Zagel and welcomes her warmly.
