Philipp Kadelke is awarded this year's dissertation prize by the Faculty of Social Sciences

Annually, TU Dortmund University recognises outstanding dissertations. This year’s recipient from the Department of Social Sciences is Philipp Kadelke. His dissertation has made a valuable contribution to the field of sociology, combining housing and inequality research (titled “Mietwohnung oder Eigenheim? Theoretische und empirische Annäherungen an den Wohneigentumsstatus als vergessene Ungleichheitsdeterminante“ [Rental apartment or detached house? A sociology of the tenure status]). The award was presented during this year's TU Dortmund University's academic celebration in 2025.
