The preliminary programme of the conference A Climate of (De-)Civilization? Shifting Dynamics between Nature and Society has been published. Between March 12 and 14, 2025, lectures on the socio-ecological crisis will be presented at TU Dortmund University from a process-sociological perspective.

The programme includes keynotes by Gurminder Bhambra (University of Sussex), Sighard Neckel (University of Hamburg), and Nikolaj Schultz (University of Copenhagen). In addition, international scientists will present their research in 20 lectures across six thematic panels, such as "Violent Conflicts," "Contested Futures," and "Human/Non-Human Figurations."
