Dortmund Technical University once again successfully took part in the nationwide funding competition organised by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education. The proposal to develop a new Master’s programme in ‘Science Communication and Media Literacy’ was a resounding success.
The Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education is providing more than 1.8 million euros to support the development of the new master’s degree programme in “Science Communication and Media Literacy.” The program is designed to teach students skills in science communication as well as in working with media, data, and artificial intelligence.

TU Dortmund University has been successful in the nationwide funding competition organized by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education: It will receive more than 1.8 million euros in funding for the development of the new master’s program “Science Communication and Media Literacy.” The degree programme is designed to teach skills in working with scientific information, media, data, and artificial intelligence, and is aimed, among others, at teachers and professionals in science management.

The Department of Social Sciences is represented in the project by Prof. Uwe Wilkesmann and Prof. Cornelius Schubert.
