SPIRE-SAIS Final Conference “Shaping the Future: Emerging Skills for A Sustainable EU Process Industry” will take place at the TU Dortmund on 23 May 2024

The SPIRE-SAIS project is approaching its endpoint and the Final Conference on the topic of “Shaping the Future: Emerging Skills for A Sustainable EU Process Industry” will be held on Thursday 23 May at the International Meeting Center (IBZ) of the Technical University in Dortmund. We invite you to the conference to learn about the Skills Alliance for Industrial Symbiosis – a Cross-sectoral Blueprint for a Sustainable Process Industry (SPIRE-SAIS).
Transformation of the Energy-Intensive Industries (EII) towards a carbon-neutral, energy-efficient and circular production is bringing many changes. Companies, European sector associations, the trade union IndustriALL, universities, training providers and technological research institutes have worked together to prepare for the changes related to skills and recruiting.
The conference will bring together speakers from all over Europe and from the many different energy-intensive industries to discuss results, new challenges, solutions and good practices and of course how activities and collaboration looks like in the future.
