Franziska Jahn receives for her master thesis: "Occupational Illnesses from an Intersectional Perspective" the 2023 Outstanding Thesis Award of the Women's and Gender Studies Section of the German Sociological Association (DGS). The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Mona Motakef (TU Dortmund University) and Prof. Dr. Gökçe Yurdakul (Humboldt University Berlin). In 2023, for the fifth time, the Women's and Gender Studies Section will honor academic theses in the field of gender studies that were completed at a German university from June 2021 and until the end of May 2023. The award will be presented at the Section's annual conference in November 2023 at the University of Osnabrück.
