On June 21, 2022, the joint farewell and welcome event for Johannes Weyer and Cornelius Schubert took place.

Johannes Weyer, who will move to a senior professorship in August and devote himself in particular to the development and implementation of concepts for sustainable mobility, looked back on 20 years of sociology of technology in Dortmund.

Cornelius Schubert, who has held the professorship for the sociology of science and technology since 2021, explained his understanding of technology development and theory building, before Cordula Kropp, digitally connected, gave a rounding lecture on the design of socio-technical transformations.

We wish both colleagues continued fun and success for their work on the (senior) professorship!
